Australian Food Safety Inspection Company (AFSIC) are specialists in the food industry, our company is thoroughly competent and fully insured. We operate from within NSW, Australia but service globally, our current operations include Fiji, China, Indonesia, Vietnam & India.

We are qualified and licensed Food Safety & Quality management systems Consultants, Trainers and Auditors through Exemplar Global (formerly RABQSA), having had a great exposure within the food industry.

AFSIC is well versed with HACCP, ISO 9001:2015, FSSC 22000, EC(MMP)O - 2005, EUROGAP, BRC, SQF, HARPS, Subway Standard, Spotless Standard, KFC Standard, Dept of agriculture & water resources (formerly AQIS) Guidelines to Approved Arrangements, Food Standards Code, National Measurement Regulation – 2009, Woolworths, Tesco, Sainsbury and Coles the basis of which is HACCP.

Ram Amunga – Team Support Officer

Holds a BSc degree in Food Science and Postharvest Technology and trained in various food safety schemes and standards including HACCP, GLOBALG.A.P, Quality Management Systems ISO 22000:2005, ISO 9001:2008 & 2015, BRC Global Standard for Food Safety, Rainforest Alliance - SAN/UTZ, LEAF Marque, Albert Heijn. 15 years cumulative experience in Quality systems implementation, Lead Auditing, Food processing and Fresh produce business operations.

Majella Doyle

completed her Bsc Biotechnology in National University of Ireland Galway She has gained an in-depth knowledge of poultry and dairy as she worked for two major companies in Ireland in Quality assurance. Majella moved to Sydney in 2018 where she worked for Lion Dairies. She joined the AFSIC team in 2019 as a food safety support officer.

Mrs. Padmaja D.

Holds a Masters degree from Sydney University having a huge technical background in pharmaceutical and microbiological analysis. Paddy is currently working with a leading university teaching technical laboratory work to graduate and post graduate students. She brings to the company her vast knowledge of bio-security and her vast analytical abilities. Paddy also plays a major role in helping AFSIC our clients and in the laboratory verification processes.

Mrs Angela Halpin

Angela brings together the frame of the company with office & team co-ordination, Angela is responsible for the background work in AFSIC responsible for growing our client base and building relationships with current accounts across Australia / Overseas, She also provides qualified trainers and assessors specializing in food to conduct food safety related training (The basis of these key competencies are in line with NFROT / ATQF principles). Angela is your primary contact with our company.

Mr. James Ma

Holds a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry and Masters Degree in Food Sciences and Technology from RMIT University. He has over 7 years of experience in various Quality Assurance/Technical roles in the food industry such as dairy, meat, bakery and fresh produce among others.James currently works with A.F.S.I.C as a Quality Support Officer and responsible for food safety, quality standards, client support, Training, consulting and research for various projects.

We have vast experience in FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) , food production, horticulture, food technology, supply chain management and food service and have assembled a professional team of food technologists, microbiologists, nutritionists and consumer scientists, accredited auditors, quality inspectors, specification and labelling experts, customer enquiry administrators, quality professionals and trainers.
In addition, we foster a culture of constant development of our own resources and the services we provide. We continually monitor the ever-changing food codes and research new and emerging technologies and developments from around the world to ensure the advice we provide our clients is accurate and up to date.
